Hi Luther,

I've been home for a few days now and I've been feeling fully recovered. I feel incredible, many things will never be the same again for me. One big conclusion I have is that I feel as if I have experienced total body fascial rebalancing. I have a long list of symptoms that have been cured since visiting you. I can breathe, walk, and sleep much better now. It truly is incredible.

Although I am young and rather athletic, I have a minor case of scoliosis (curvature of the spine) which limits my flexibility and makes me more prone to certain injuries. After one such injury I was hardly able to move without intense pain. All I could do was stand and lie down - everything else hurt. Luther, my dear friend, saw that I was hurting and did some simple mashing techniques on the area from where my pain emanated, my glutes and hamstrings. I almost cried. There I was in agony, and in just minutes my pain was greatly relieved and I could actually walk around. I immediately arranged a stretch session with Luther. He worked with me on stretching and increasing my flexibility. At first my movement was very limited, almost embarrassingly so. But I saw quick gains, and after only about 2 months my flexibility went from pathetic to average to slightly impressive. Luther did something for me that no one else could, when I felt that I all I could do was wait for the pain to go away on its own. But you don't have to live with pain, I know that now. Ever since then my life has been wonderful. I don't feel limited in my movement, in fact, I feel that I can work toward putting my body in any position I wish. I have not had any injuries since and have been able to heal myself using the techniques he taught me. Everyone should know about resistance stretching. I am forever grateful.

With over 40 years of playing golf, previously at a professional level, my flexibility had dropped from having a desk job for the past 10 years. To start out with, even as a kid I was not as flexible as I should have been. Until Luther I was previously never satisfied with my flexibility.

I am in great cardio shape and pretty strong for a golfer, but it was a pain to bend over to tee the ball or pick the ball out of the hole. My lower back and hips would be stiff for the last 6 or 7 holes if I rode in a cart, and it would stiffen if I walked and didn't stretch often.

Now, after 2 visits and almost 4 hours with Luther, I am more flexible and stronger than I have ever been. I can actually walk and carry my bag (Sunday bag) 18 holes, previously it was a beating to do that, now it is a breeze and sometimes enjoyable depending on the group I am in.

The flexibility stays with me as well, very permanent. Although I have not seen Luther in a year, I am still quite flexible and simply want to resistance stretch as my body craves it. Luther works the connective tissue around the muscles in way that 99.99999% of us have never experienced. Luther will stretch each and every fiber of the muscles he works on. He did 8 stretches per arm and leg on me. All of it is a dramatic change. It takes a few hours to recover and feel it as it is quite hard work, but the best work out you will ever have.

Be careful when you go out to play or practice, take it slow and easy, as your range of motion and torque will be exponentially increased and you can hurt yourself if you do not take it slow and let your body adjust to the new tensions and level of force that you can create. Give your knees and ankles a chance to adjust to the increased level of tension you will be putting them through.

Where previously it took me 100 balls to warm up and get all the parts working, it now takes me about 20, before I can start making full swings and going full speed, this is at normal temperature of 75 degrees or higher. Also, by the time I was warmed up with 100 balls I was also worn out where now I can hit 300-500 balls now without getting stiff and worn out. The stability in the short game will improve dramatically and your shoulders and back will work together so much better.

Working with Luther will give you the best return for you money that you have EVER spent on your game. It put life back into my game as I am now back on my A game 95% of the time, where I was 95% on my C game previously.

My only regret with Luther is that he was in Austin and I was in Dallas. So I had to travel to see him or I would do the stretching more with him, now he is in California. Even with that I will come and work out for the weekend and maybe get in 3-4 hours for 2 days to justify the expense. With the improvement I have seen, there is no substitute for Luther and resistance stretching as far as I am concerned.

Hi Luther,

I've been meaning to tell you what happened to me one night. It was Father's Day and my husband and I cooked a fabulous dinner and our sons came over and one of their fiances. My husband's gift was a Wii Sports game and we all played. It was a wonderful evening, aside from the guys being one hour late. I had made a delicious heart shaped chocolate chip brownie, which we never ate until late that night. You'd think I'd know better since chocolate really revs me up, but anyway, that night I couldn't get to sleep for anything. Finally, after hours of trying I gave in to the energy that was racing through my body and decided to do a resistance stretching workout right there without even getting out of bed. I must have done about 20 minutes worth of gentle resistance stretches, and wouldn't you know it, I was able to settle down and fall asleep. Thank you for introducing me to this fantastic workout. It often means the difference of limping with pain or walking normally, pain-free!!

I met Luther at a party and he noticed I was suffering. He introduced himself and he worked with me for only 15 minutes on the floor.

I can feel parts of my body that I didn't used to feel. I can feel the tightness that I was previously unaware of. When I get help with stretching, I can feel the relief that comes from getting extra space in my body, particularly in my hips. My digestion has improved. I have moments of spontaneously clear and analytical thinking that I didn't used to have. I have felt the fascia strip away on a few occasions of getting stretched. I have felt the energy pathways on a few occasions. I've had specific mental/behavioral results from intensely stretching specific body parts.

Body functions internally much better. In addition my body performs better walking, running, skiing, sitting, and just in daily life. I also have developed in all aspects of my life!

I have never experienced that injury or complications from it again. I've been able to prevent injuries with resistance flexibility and step up my distance to an ultra and try other sports for more balance.

I realize a deeper, more effective lengthening of the muscle. The movement happens within the muscle rather than pulling on my joints and attachments.

Every day flexibility.

More strength, look better in clothes, more muscle volume helps maintain weight, more flexible, can play on the floor with my grandchildren (some of my friends can't even get down to the floor). I also avoided a major injury due to a serious fall in a restaurant this winter. I slipped on some food on the floor by the salad bar, but I believe due to strong core strength, I completely avoided any serious injury and even soreness or bruising. Everyone around me was amazed, especially when they discovered I was 61 years old.

All issues have resolved and my body is healthy and strong and getting younger every day - I owe my life to this process thank you.

General well being is elevated. Increased flexibility and greater spiritual awareness.

About a 25% increase in range of motion in my left leg. Also the shrinking of three very very large herniated disks in my back. And I am hoping for increased disk space in my lower spine. Last I plan on getting my knees as good as new and a full return to sports and training. So I can start a altitude camp teaching what I have learned!

I appreciated the in-depth walkthrough and repetition of the poses and how they affect us in everyday life.

I really enjoyed the aspect of self work and self stretching. I also liked that there was plenty of time to practice the techniques and alternatives were given.

I enjoyed the opportunity to experience being stretched by someone else. I also got greater clarity about certain aspects of self stretching.

I loved how light I felt afterwards, how all the stretches were so intricate when working on my muscles and how it melted away some of the fascia in my body. The concepts are pretty easy to understand and apply, all the while being in-depth and interesting! I feel such a difference in my body now! I appreciated all of the training. The feedback for body alignment and placement during instruction was most valuable for me. This work is strenuous for both the patient and facilitator. Proper body alignment allows for both parties to benefit.

There is integration of all elements in this system as well as an expansion of understanding that I am directly experiencing and observing in others as very beneficial. I have experienced an easing of stiffness in my hip and relief of lack of range of motion in my right shoulder - new conditions for me. I get instant relief and long lasting. I see changes psychologically as well and am still exploring this.

I love the many ways I can explore resistance while finding flexibility! As well a great deal of strength and stamina can be "built". I like the "reps" approach... it takes that to to acquire flexibility in a movement.

I am a yoga teacher...not my day job...as well a dedicated cyclist. I cannot 'stretch' without resistance. If I stretch without properly applying resistance, I can feel improper tension, and rather than stretching the muscle, it pulls on the attachment... the joint! I no longer do or teach a traditional forward bend....with all the 'sitting' going on in our society a traditional yoga forward bend can create pain, improper movement based on tension, and perhaps cause injury.

The training was very enlightening for me. I gained a higher awareness of myself and my style of relating of others. I also gained more insight into the world of resistance flexibility. I am so blessed to have this new information in my life and look forward to the journey. I found the course to be fluid and well guided. It is such a huge web of information to dive into, especially if a person had no prior knowledge of the work. I feel that each part was introduced, however a lot of stretching was the focus.

What I have taken from the training has been life changing for me and a lot of that has to do with the trainers and the class. The quality of the trainers was excellent, as was their ability to communicate the technique to those that didn't know much about it. I went with little information and the weekend training was effective in enabling me to understand the method thoroughly, create a practice that I could do at home and also share/teach it to my friends and family. I enjoyed working with other participants and diving right in with stretching others. Also the stretching of the trainers was a very powerful experience that I learned a lot from.

Great way to stay flexible on a daily basis. A better approach than traditional stretching, which can create negative effects from over-stretching.
